The key role of The Sports Research and Development Division is: - To enhance research at ISN and to inculcate a research environment among the staff of ISN.
- To create new knowledge about the sports.
- To help staff to convert data into presentations/posters and journal papers.
- To support and encourage multi-center research projects.
- To support and encourage inter-institution research with both local and overseas institutions.
The Sports Research and Development Division consists of 4 main areas:

Sports Technology Research -
Sports, Health and Activities Research in Malaysia (SHARM)
