Sports Medicine Division consists of: Primary CareSpecialised CareAnti Doping
Role Provide quality sports injury management and patient medical service to national athletes. Teamf - The medical team consists of Sports Physicians, Medical Officers, Medical Assistants, Staff Nurses, Pharmacists, Radiographers, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Physiotherapists, Physical Trainers, Sports Masseurs, Manual Therapists, Ambulance Drivers and General Clerks.
Function Of Sports Medicine: - Provide medical support coverage services during competition, centralized training and sports camps at local and international events.
- Provide medical support services to Malaysian Contingents taking part in the international sporting events.
- Provide referral services for hospital and/or specialist centres.
- Coordination and planning of sports medicine courses involving national coaches, athletes, officials and medical personnel.

- Athlete physical examination
- Diagnosis
- Treatment
- Recovery
- X-ray
- Medical laboratory test
- Medical treatment associated with performance and training, over training
- Biochemistry status related to training and food intake.
- Mechanism of sports injuries, prevention and correction.
- Cardio-respiratory status
- Athlete vaccination programme
- Health education and injury prevention through workshops, pamphlets, seminars and courses
OPERATION HOURS: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Lunch Break: 1:00 pm – 2:00pm Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Lunch Break: 12.15 noon – 2.45 pm Closed on Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays Sports Physician consultation by appointment only. Services provided for: - National Athletes, Coaches
